Independent counsel for enterprising families navigating wealth, ownership, and succession — across generations and borders. The blueprint is ancestral.
The approach ↓Itura is counsel for enterprising families through the building years — not only once the wealth is at rest. I sit beside the family, coordinating the specialists across every jurisdiction it touches, so the family itself remains the architect of its own continuity.
Counsel to the family and no one else — working alongside your lawyers, tax advisors, and bankers, coordinating them, never replacing them.
I begin with the family's shared understanding — its values, intentions, and agreements — and design the ownership and governance to serve it. The covenant leads; the structure follows.
For families whose wealth — and whose rising generation — span borders. Succession, governance, and ownership designed for that reality.
The architecture for holding wealth across generations — credit carried by the community, assets held for those not yet born, a craft taught and handed on — was African long before it was formalised elsewhere.
I design from that original: stewardship, restored for how families build and pass on wealth now.
I have sat on nearly every side of the table I now advise. I grew up inside a family business in Lagos, built and led its single-family office as a next-generation principal, and later advised rising-generation families around the world — and today I'm a first-generation builder myself. I trained at Deloitte in London in international corporate tax and transfer pricing — the mechanics of value moving across borders.
The empathy was installed before the power arrived.
That vantage is the reason Itura exists. I know the building years from the borrower's side, the family office from the inside, and the weight of being handed responsibility — so I sit beside the family, keep the whole architecture in view, and make certain the specialists each jurisdiction requires are working from the same map.
My focus is families whose wealth must cross borders to do its work, and especially those still building, not only preserving.
